The construction readiness of the administrative building of the Aminyevskoye electric depot is estimated to be 70%, according to Mr. Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning and Construction.
The Mosinzhproekt Group of Companies is a general designer and general contractor for the construction of new lines and stations of the Moscow Metro.
“A seven-storey administrative building with a basement, with a total area of around 13 thousand square metres, is being constructed on the site of the Aminyevskoye electric depot. All cast-in-situ structures have been erected, and the heating station equipment has been installed – the floors are provided with heating. One of the three lifts has also been installed”, said Mr. Andrey Bochkarev.
According to Deputy Mayor, this building is designed for staff accommodation. It has a block of recreational facilities for locomotive crews, workers, employees, specialists and managers, a 140-seat canteen, an assembly hall designed for 180 seats, a gym, sanitary premises and a medical block.
Mr. Yuri Kravtsov, CEO, Mosinzhproekt JSC, specified that the interior decoration was being carried out at the site: tiling, walls plastering and primer surfacing.
“In addition, the installation of the utilities has been started: electricity, lighting, ventilation and drainage”, noted Mr. Yuri Kravtsov.
The head of Mosinzhproekt added that a 29-pit stabling and repair building was also being constructed on the site of the electric depot. In addition, work is underway to construct the motor depot: the concreting on six pits has been completed.
“The sandwich panel cladding of the facades at the motor depot has been completed. Work is underway on the walls and partition walls, the cast-in-situ foundation of the car wheel lathe, and the installation of the roofing, windows and stained-glass windows”, said Mr. Yuri Kravtsov.
The head of the holding recalled that the Aminyevskoye electric depot was being constructed on a former industrial zone with an area of about 15.7 hectares. The launch of the electric depot will create 1,350 jobs.
The Aminyevskoye electric depot will be located in the capital west at the intersection of Generala Dorokhova Street and Vereyskaya Street. It will be designed to repair and stable trains on the Big Circle Line (BCL) of the Moscow Metro. In addition to it, the Zamoskvoretskoye and Nizhegorodskoye electric depots will maintain the rolling stock of the BCL.
