BUILDERS HAVE STARTED EXCAVATION WORK AT THE FUTURE VAVILOVSKAYA STATION ON THE TROITSKAYA LINE

The preparations for the construction of the Krymskaya station have started too

“Excavation has started at the Vavilovskaya station under construction on the future central section of the Troitskaya Line”, said Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Urban Planning and Construction. Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding is the operator of the Moscow Metro Development Program.

“The traffic diversion on Leninsky Prospekt has been completed, the installation of the bored-secant piles is 88% complete and the relocation of utilities is underway at the station. The builders are starting to excavate the pit,” said Andrey Bochkarev.

In turn, Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC, added that the enclosing structures of the entry pit of the installation and shield chamber and the removal of engineering utilities from the construction zone is coming to an end at the nearby future Akademicheskaya station of the central section of the Troitskaya Line.

“Apart from that, preparations have started for the construction of the Krymskaya station, which will be an interchange to the Moscow Central Circle. At present, utility networks, in particular cable lines, are being relocated from the construction site,” the holding head emphasized.

Earlier today, Sergei Sobyanin, Mayor of Moscow, has inspected the construction progress of the Ulitsa Generala Tyuleneva station of the Troitskaya Line. “One of the stations, Ulitsa Generala Tyuleneva, is an important station. It will unclog the stations of the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya Line, the Sokolnicheskaya Line for Tyopliy Stan District by 20-25%. In general, Tyopliy Stan will be one of the best districts in Moscow to ensure metro,” clarified Sergei Sobyanin.
