The concrete foundation of the station complex is being installed
“The builders have started to perform cast-in-situ works at the Fiztekh station of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya metro line”, said Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Urban Planning and Construction.
Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding is a managing company to construct the new lines and stations of the Moscow Metro.
“The concrete foundation of the station complex is being installed, with 1000 cubic metres of concrete being already laid here”, said Andrey Bochkarev.
According to him, overall construction completion for the extended section of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line from the existing Seligerskaya station to Fiztekh being about 6 km long is estimated at a quarter.
“Tunnel driving at the section is already completed, all three stations are being dynamically built: Fiztekh, Lianozovo and Yakhromskaya”, reminded Andrey Bochkarev.
Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC, specified that at the Fiztekh station, the removal of engineering utilities away from the construction zone, pit excavation, installation of retaining structures, and the foundation pit shoring are in progress.
“At Lianozovo, removal of the utilities and installation of the retaining structures of the pit are already completed, the earthwork is near to completion, and completion of the cast-in-situ structures of the station complex is estimated at two-thirds”, specified Yuri Kravtsov.
Head of the holding added that all types of work continue at the Yakhromskaya station in accordance with the set schedule.
Extension of the light green line to the Fiztekh station within the grounds of the Severny urban settlement will lessen the traffic load on Dmitrovskoye highway and the northern sections of the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya and Zamoskvoretskaya metro lines. Once the new stations are opened, the transport services will improve in the districts of Dmitrovsky, Vostochnoye Degunino, Beskudnikovsky and Lianozovo, as well as in the settlement of Severny: their residents will be able to save up to 20 minutes when travelling around the city.
Today Sergei Sobyanin, Mayor of Moscow, inspected the Lianozovo station under construction on the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya metro line.
“The Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya metro line, its extension, is one of the largest metro construction projects in Moscow. Subsequent to the extension, it will increase almost twofold: instead of 14 stations, which were there in 2010, there will be 26 metro stations. Most of this work is completed and commissioned. “Currently, we are working at the last section of the three stations towards Fiztekh, this is the settlement of Severny. All three stations already have a relatively good construction status. Tunnel driving is entirely completed. Now the task is to complete the work at the station, and launch it in 2023. This development project is important, these three stations will serve almost half a million people, and six districts of Moscow”, said Sergei Sobyanin.
