“The construction of the flyover and exit from the Southern Rockade to the Moscow High Speed Diameter is 80% complete. Now the construction workers are working on concreting the roadway”, stated Mr. Andrey Bochkarev.
According to Deputy Mayor, the structure is being constructed as part of a section of the Southern Rockade from Kaspiyskaya Street to 1st Kotlyakovsky Lane. The Southern Rockade will provide transport links to four Moscow districts: Western Administrative District, South-Western Administrative District, Southern Administrative District, South-Eastern Administrative District and 24 districts with a population of about 2.7 million people. The route will connect major highways: the Eastern and Western sections of the Moscow Automobile Ring Road, Kutuzovsky avenue, Michurinsky avenue, Vernadskogo avenue, Leninsky avenue, Profsoyuznaya Street, Varshavskoye highway, Proletarskiy avenue, Kashirskoye highway, Lipetskaya and Lyublinskaya Streets, Besedinskoye highway and Verkhnie Polya Street.
