“Design documentation is being prepared for the construction of the second phase of the project ‘Prityazhenie’ (‘the Attraction’) in Magnitogorsk”, said Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC.
Mosinzhproekt Institute LLC is a part of the engineering holding and is the general designer of the “Prityazhenie” public space.
“Mosinzhproekt Institute is actively preparing design documentation for the facilities of the second phase of the ‘Prityazhenie’ Project. For the first quarter of 2022, the documentation sets for the fitness centre with a swimming pool and the children’s indoor funfair park are scheduled to be released,” said Yuri Kravtsov.
According to him, the design work on the first phase facilities is almost complete. The information centre building documentation has been approved, and the design documentation for the food mall is nearly complete.
“The construction of the main structures of the information centre building began in September of this year, following the documentation prepared by our experts, and the in-situ concreting on the ground floor is nearly complete,” Yuri Kravtsov informed.
In turn, Rustam Cherkesov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt Institute LLC, specified that all design work was carried out using modern software systems to create information models of the buildings and surrounding terrain.
“BIM technology makes it possible to identify and prevent collisions of engineering systems and structures and to work out interior solutions in detail at the design stage. In general, using information models can improve the quality of the project documentation produced. This year, Mosinzhproekt Institute has received the title of BIM-leader in Russia,” stressed Rustam Cherkesov.
He recalled that the design institute had become the general designer of the “Prityazhenie” project on the basis of competitive procedures.
