FINISHING WORK IS UNDERWAY AT LIANOZOVO STATION ON LYUBLINO-DMITROVSKAYA METRO LINE

The finishing of the passenger area and service premises is underway at the Lianozovo station of the Lyublino-Dmitrovskaya (LDL) metro line, the installation of utility systems has started, according to Mr. Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning and Construction.

The Mosinzhproekt Group of Companies is a general designer and general contractor for the construction of new lines and stations of the Moscow Metro.

“The main cast-in-situ structures of the Lianozovo LDL metro station are fully completed, and the architectural finishing has started. Its core element will be the enfilade, consisting of light and dark areas, successfully adjacent to each other”, said Mr. Andrey Bochkarev.

According to Deputy Mayor, the platform was fully waterproofed. The backfilling of the mounting hole on the first concourse has also been completed after the installation of the escalators.

Mr. Yuri Kravtsov, CEO, Mosinzhproekt JSC, noted that the floor of the station complex had been laid with polished slabs of light grey granite.

“On the tunnel walls, the installation of the subsystem to attach cladding panels is underway. 46 columns, the ceiling and walls are planned to be covered with metal panels”, added Mr. Yuri Kravtsov.

The head of the engineering holding added that ventilation, heating and water supply systems were also being installed at the station.

In addition to the Lianozovo station, the Yakhromskaya and Fiztekh stations are being constructed on the extension section of the light green metro line. The opening of the new stations will improve transport services in Dmitrovsky, Vostochnoye Degunino, Beskudnikovsky and Lianozovo districts, as well as the Severny urban settlement: their residents will be able to save up to 20 minutes while travelling around the city.
