IN-SITU CONCRETING AT THE LIANOZOVO METRO STATION IS 70% COMPLETE

The builders have already started the finishing works

“Completion of the cast-in-place structures of the Lianozovo station under construction on the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya metro line is estimated by more than two-thirds”, said Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Urban Planning and Construction.

Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding is the managing company to construct new lines and stations of the Moscow Metro.

“Currently, in-situ concreting is being done on the platform part of the station, it is completed by half. Construction of the cast-in-place structures in the second concourse continues. Also, the builders have already started with the finishing works, in particular, finishing the track wall, installation of the engineering systems will begin shortly”, said the Deputy Mayor.

He added that in-situ concreting of the first concourse is already fully finished.

Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC, recalled that in parallel with construction of the Lianozovo station, two underground pedestrian crossings are being built: to the same-name platform of the first route of the Moscow Central Diameters (MCD-1) and through Dmitrovskoye Highway.

“Currently, pit excavation in the construction area ofthe transfer to MCD-1 is fully completed in two out of three pits. Excavation in the remaining pit will start after concreting of the main structures of the second concourse of the station, where cast-in-situ concreting is already in process”, specified Yuri Kravtsov.

According to the Head of the holding, one of the two scheduled pits, in the construction zone of the crossing over Dmitrovskoye Highway, is already developed and concreted, development of the second one will begin shortly.

Beside Lianozovo, the construction site of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line extension will accommodate two more stations: Yakhromskaya and Fiztekh. Opening of the new stations will improve transport services in the districts of Dmitrovsky, Vostochnoye Degunino, Beskudnikovsky and Lianozovo, as well as in the settlement of Severny: their residents will be able to save up to 20 minutes when travelling around the city.

In addition, extension of the light green line will ease the traffic on Dmitrovskoye highway and the northern sections of the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya and Zamoskvoretskaya metro lines.
