Construction of an underground pedestrian crossing has started
“The main structures of the Yakhromskaya station of the new section of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line of the Moscow Metro are 60% complete”, said Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Urban Planning and Construction.
Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding is a general designer and general contractor to construct new lines and stations of the Moscow metro.
“The in-situ concreting is complete in the first southern concourse and on the platform section of the Yakhromskaya station on the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line section under construction. The main structures are being constructed above the platform: in the area of the traction step-down substation and the ventilation ducts. We have started laying concrete in the second northern concourse”, said Andrey Bochkarev.
According to the head of the Construction Complex, the overall completion of the main structures of the Yakhromskaya station is estimated at 60%.
“Construction of an underground pedestrian crossing across the Dmitrovskoye Highway has started. In addition, the waterproofing at the station is more than one-third complete”, added Andrey Bochkarev.
According to Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC, the anchoring of the main excavation has also been completed.
“Anchoring of the excavations for the two pedestrian exits to Yakhromskaya and 800th Anniversary of Moscow Streets have been started, excavation procedure will start here soon. Relocation of the pipeline from the construction zone is nearly complete”, Yuri Kravtsov said.
He added that in-situ concreting and earthworks are underway on the other two stations under construction, Lianozovo and Fiztekh, on the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line extension section.
Recall that the opening of the new stations will improve transport services in the Dmitrovskiy, Vostochnoye Degunino, Beskudnikovskiy and Lianozovo Districts, as well as the Severny urban settlement: their residents will be able to save up to 20 minutes while travelling around the city. In addition, extension of the light green line will ease the traffic on Dmitrovskoye highway and the northern sections of the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya and Zamoskvoretskaya metro lines.
