The in-situ constructions of the Fiztekh station complex on the Lyublino-Dmitrovskaya metro line (LDL) are 62% complete, according to Mr. Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning and Construction.
The Mosinzhproekt Group of Companies is a general designer and general contractor for the construction of new lines and stations of the Moscow Metro.
“More than 32 thousand cubic metres of concrete has been laid at the Fiztekh station, the concreting of main structures, waterproofing and relocating of the networks from the construction zone are underway”, said Mr. Andrey Bochkarev.
According to Deputy Mayor, the preparatory stage of enclosing structures installation, accomplished in slurry trench technique had been completed. The pit excavation of the station complex with dead-ends over 600 metres long has been completed.
Mr. Yuri Kravtsov, CEO, Mosinzhproekt JSC, noted that the construction of the station platform vault made of in-situ reinforced concrete using rolling metal forms was in progress. The interior work of the mainline tunnels and the construction of the tunnel structures are also in progress.
“The track superstructure is being constructed in the mainline tunnels. Three thousand running metres have already been laid. Construction workers are also installing cable brackets and welding running rails”, added the head of the engineering holding.
He specified that two concourses were under construction at the Fiztekh LDL station.
“In the northern concourse leading to Dmitrovskoye highway, concreting of the base slab is underway. In the southern concourse, which provides access to Akademika Landau Boulevard, the walls are being constructed”, noted Mr. Yuri Kravtsov.
The length of the northern extension section of the Lyublino-Dmitrovskaya line under construction is about six kilometres and includes three stations: Yakhromskaya, Lianozovo and Fiztekh. The new stations will improve transport accessibility for residents of Dmitrovsky, Vostochnoye Degunino, Beskudnikovsky, Lianozovo districts, as well as the settlement of Severny.
