They have made it possible to optimize many work processes
“3D models and elements of information modeling technologies were actively used in the design and construction of the Terekhovo station of the Big Circle Line (BCL) of the Moscow Metro”, said Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Urban Planning and Construction.
Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding is a general designer and general contractor to construct new lines and stations of the Moscow metro.
“The Terekhovo station is one of the first stations where new digital technologies have been used. They have helped, among other things, to improve our design solutions and link utility systems of the station such as power supply, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning,” said Andrey Bochkarev.
According to the Deputy Mayor, in addition to the Terekhovo station, elements of information modelling technologies were used for the first time at two other stations of the commissioned section of the BCL, Kuntsevskaya and Davydkovo.
Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC, said that the use of information technologies made it possible to minimise mismatches arising during construction.
“The use of 3D models and information modelling elements has optimised many work processes. For example, we were able to plan time schedules more accurately, including materials and equipment supplies,” Yuri Kravtsov added.
Recall that the opening of ten stations of the Big Circle Line: Terekhovo, Kuntsevskaya, Davydkovo, Aminyevskaya, Michurinsky Prospekt, Prospect Vernadskogo, Novatorskaya, Vorontsovskaya, Zyuzino, and Kakhovskaya, is the largest one-time launch in the history of the Moscow Metro.
The construction of the Big Circle Line is the main project of the Moscow Metro construction. Its length will exceed 70 km, and it will accommodate 31 stations, 22 of which are already servicing the passengers.
