The integrated approach contributes to efficient development of urban areas
“Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding applies new methods in development and operation of the large-scale urban development projects, inclusive of dynamic modelling”, said Andrey Antipov, Deputy General Director for Large Urban Development Projects of Mosinzhproekt JSC.
Mosinzhproekt acts as the area development operator for a number of major urban development projects.
“The holding applies advanced techniques of territory development. When implementing urban development projects, we, for instance, use a simulation dynamic modeling. The obtained data enable us to take managerial decisions, both at the design stage and at the stage of operation of facilities”, said Andrey Antipov at the plenary meeting ‘On the Future of Cities: Business, People, Services’ in line with the RBC forum ‘Infrastructure Investments. Society. Technologies. Business’.
According to him, a comprehensive approach makes it possible to foster effective communication between all participants in line with the area development.
“We proceed with collaborative design and construction of the utilities and roads, infrastructure facilities, as well as public services and amenities. Our approach ensures the phased development of the area, with well-managed control over completion of all stages and particular sites, acknowledging the interests of all parties”, added Antipov.
The Deputy General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC specified, that the main criteria in line with implementation of each urban development project comprise safety, comfort and accessibility for citizens.
It is noteworthy, that Mosinzhproekt acts as the operator for a number of major urban development projects in Moscow, like the Mnyovnikovskaya floodplain, the vacated territory of the Khrunichev Space Center, as well as the Kommunarka ABC in New Moscow. The total area of the facilities scheduled for construction exceeds 12 million square meters.
Within the territory of the Mnyovnikovskaya floodplain, two stations of the Big Circle Line are already opened, namely Mnyovniki and Terekhovo. The latter was launched on December 7 being part of the BCL section comprising ten stations. Good transport accessibility will become one of the drivers for development of the new areas.
