MOSINZHPROEKT AND NOSTROY CONCLUDED A COOPERATION AGREEMENT

Particular emphasis given to students

Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC, and Anton Glushkov, President of the National Association of Builders (NOSTROY), signed a cooperation agreement within the business programme of the 21st All-Russian Congress of Self-Regulatory Organisations in the Construction Industry.

Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding is the operator of the key urban planning programmes of the Russian capital.

The parties have agreed to jointly implement programmes and projects aimed at improving the quality of construction, developing a system of professional qualifications in the construction industry, improving the legal and regulatory framework in the construction, urban planning, training specialists and a number of other fields.

“One of the key areas of cooperation is development of a system of professional standards and training specialists for the construction industry, an independent assessment of qualifications, and a procedure for professional and public accreditation of educational programmes. Particular emphasis will be given to working with students of construction universities, colleges and young professionals to foster a positive image of jobs related to the construction industry, and introduce them to the modern technologies and best industry practices”, said Yuri Kravtsov.

He added that Mosinzhproekt Group of Companies and NOSTROY are joining forces to organise and run competitions of professional skills in the construction industry and planning to exchange experiences in the development of the professional qualifications system by organising joint seminars, round tables, courses, lectures and meetings.

“Joint work of our companies will be also carried out on topical issues of pricing and import substitution of materials, equipment, mechanisms used in the construction”, specified the head of the holding.

“Each of us, as part of our regular activities, contributes to the priorities regarding the construction industry development. One of them is to participate in providing construction sites with qualified personnel. I am certain that by joining forces with Mosinzhproekt Holding, we will develop and implement a set of measures in this area. NOSTROY also visualise its cooperation with Mosinzhproekt on import substitution in the construction industry. I am convinced that our cooperation will be as productive as possible and bring the construction industry to a fundamentally new level”, said Anton Glushkov.

There are also plans to focus on improving the technical regulation system and harmonisation of standards for work processes. As part of the agreement, NOSTROY and Mosinzhproekt also agreed to organise information exchange on standardisation of work processes and provide methodological, expertise and analytical support for activities in this area.

Recall that over the years of work as the operator of the Moscow Metro Development Programme, Mosinzhproekt has commissioned more than 125 km of metro lines, built 61 stations and 11 electric depots. As a participant in key programmes to develop the Moscow street and road network, the company is involved in the construction of the Moscow High-Speed Diameter and the Southern Rockade. In addition, the holding has implemented the largest civil facilities of the capital, such as Luzhniki BSA, Irina Viner-Usmanova Palace of Gymnastics, Zaryadye Park with a concert hall, infection center in Voronovsky and others.

The Association “National Association of Builders (NOSTROY) is the largest association of self-regulatory organisations in the construction industry, comprising 224 self-regulatory organisations operating in 74 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, including the Republic of Crimea; over 97,000 companies involved in housing and civil construction, industrial engineering, renovation and overhaul, demolition of buildings and structures, which represents over 50% of the total number of companies operating in the construction industry.
