MOSINZHPROEKT HAS SUMMED UP THE RESULTS IN QUALITY, HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY FOR THE FIRST HALF OF THE YEAR

“Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding has summed up the results of the activities of the Group of Companies and contractors for the first half of 2022 in quality, health, safety and environmental policy and awarded the leaders in three areas”, said Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC.

Mosinzhproekt Group of Companies participates as an operator of Moscow’s key urban planning programmes and is included in the List of backbone organisations of the Russian economy in the construction, housing and utilities sector.

“For the first half of 2022, we were able to achieve a reduction of the key indicator, the Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR), as well as a significant decrease in the number of traffic accidents. The percentage of elimination of detected violations has increased, and the targets for reducing the negative impact on the environment have been specified”, said Yuri Kravtsov.

“The decision was made to award our Chinese partners from CRCC Rus in the category “Best contractor in occupation safety in the first half of 2022,” our colleagues from Transinzhstroy JSC were the best in the category “Expert in environmental protection issues in the first half of 2022”, and we would also like to highlight the achievements of INGEOCOM Association in the category “Leader in Quality Management in the first half of 2022.” I heartily congratulate my colleagues”, said Yuri Kravtsov.

He noted that an increased attention to quality, health, safety and environmental policy is an important priority for Mosinzhproekt Holding and a guarantee of the Group’s sustainable development.

“It is safety that is one of the pillars of the production culture, which determines the attitude to all aspects of work produced at the construction site and in the office”, emphasized the head of the engineering holding.

Vladimir Dorovskiy, Deputy General Director for Quality, Safety and Health Protection, Industrial Safety, and Environmental Protection of Mosinzhproekt JSC, said that the Mosinzhproekt Group of Companies has developed general safety and quality criteria, and a unified inspection plan which is implemented together with contractors.

“Continuous improvement in quality, safety and health protection, industrial safety, and environmental protection management is, first and foremost, the introduction of systematic training at all levels of operations. Linear inspections of the sites are held, during which we not only conduct theoretical training, but also we show on these concrete examples how the contractor benefits by improving the safety of workers”, specified Vladimir Dorovskiy.

Safety and health protection and industrial safety are priority elements of the integrated management system of the Mosinzhproekt Group of Companies. Last year, employees switched to new signal workwear. This year, digital safety and health protection and industrial safety management system modules are being actively tested and implemented in pilot projects, which will become another of the competitive advantages of the holding.
