MOSINZHPROEKT IMPLEMENTS ADVANCED SAFETY STANDARDS

The holding modernized its construction control division

The work to implement best practices in the standards of occupational health and safety, work quality and environment in the Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding demonstrates positive results. Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC, informed about that on the World Day for Safety and Health at Work.

Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding is the operator of the key urban planning programmes in the Russian capital.

“Over the past year, the Group of companies has formalised new operating principles and standards in key areas of quality, health and safety, and environment, and certified management systems following the international ISO standards”, said Yuri Kravtsov.

According to him, the holding has also modernized its construction control division and updated its normative and technical documentation.

Vladimir Dorovskiy, Deputy General Director for Quality, Safety and Health Protection, Industrial Safety, and Environmental Protection at Mosinzhproekt JSC, added that all activities in this area are carried out in a systematic and planned way. For example, Green Initiatives, which reduce the negative impact on the environment, are being implemented in the offices of the Group of companies, emergency drills and training seminars are being held.

“More than 100 employees of the holding have been trained in the programme ‘Safety Culture Development Basis. Safety in the company’s DNA, an integral part of production and business”, including through which the Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) for 2021 reduced by 46% compared to the previous year”, said Vladimir Dorovskiy.

Recall that the Mosinzhproekt Group of Companies has approved SMART 12, a new standard of key safety, industrial, fire and environmental regulations. It is a code of conduct that summarizes the basic requirements for ensuring the safety of personnel, including contractors, in offices and on construction sites.
