It will speed up the process of creating new stations and subway train service depots

“BIM Competence Center of Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding is working on launching a pilot underground construction project using BIM”, said Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Urban Planning and Construction.

“This development, which uses global best practices, will speed up the process of creating new stations and subway train service depots. Now, as part of the pilot project, specialists are actively developing the necessary component’s base, which will consist of an information model, and automate work processes,” said Andrey Bochkarev.

According to him, the specialists have already presented the new methodology to the professional community.

“The Krasny Stroitel service depot has been selected as a site for testing the technology,” specified Andrey Bochkarev.

Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC, added that employees of the holding presented their approaches to creating the methodology and demonstrated fragments of the pilot project to the participants of the Going Digital 2021 conference in Moscow. The solutions have been recently presented based on the example of the design and construction of transport facilities at the “100+ TechnoBuild 2021” International Construction Forum in Yekaterinburg.

“Mosinzhproekt information modelling specialists have a great authority in the professional environment. The hiring of employees for our BIM Competence Center is nearly completed. The “digital” division is almost fully staffed and ready to use advanced technologies at all stages of project implementation,” specified Yury Kravtsov.
