Mosinzhproekt will open the Construction Site playground at the Kidzania Family Entertainment Center located in the Aviapark shopping centre in Moscow. The playground will be opened on 1 June, the International Children’s Day.
Mosinzhproekt is one of the major engineering companies in Russia, the operator of key urban planning programmes in Moscow. It is included in the List of Backbone Organisations of the Russian Economy in the Construction and Housing and Utilities Sector.
“Promoting the construction professions helps shape a talent pool that will serve as the backbone of the country’s construction sector in the future. It is especially important to get children interested at a very early age, when they are just beginning to think about what they want to become in the future. “The “Construction Site” playground zone at Kidzania enables us to introduce important aspects of our work to children in a fun way”, stated Mr. Yuri Kravtsov, CEO, Mosinzhproekt JSC.
The “Construction Site” is a specifically equipped three-level area of 90 square metres. In a playful way, kids learn about working at heights, construction technologies, and safety on construction sites. The activities assigned to them will educate them how to work as a team and will aid in the development of their erudition, creative thinking, coordination, and fine motor skills.
The Work at Height activity, for example, will lead young construction workers through a rope park filled with obstructions, nets, suspension bridges, and ropes. Kids are going to build a “brick wall” out of a special, safe material. Children will be clothed in waistcoats and helmets fashioned in the corporate colours of Mosinzhproekt’s uniform to carry out the activities.
Kidzania is a network of educational amusement parks for children. The activities available allow kids to learn about over 100 professions in a fun way and try out different careers.
In 2023, Mosinzhproekt celebrates its 65th anniversary. Over the years, the company’s specialists have participated in the creation of over 6,000 km of highways, over 100 bridges and flyovers. With the participation of Mosinzhproekt, more than 152 km of lines and 70 new metro stations have been commissioned in 12 years, and 11 electric depots have been constructed and reconstructed. A number of significant civil engineering projects have also been completed.
