“Employees of Mosinzhproekt Group of Companies participated in the 21st International Conference on Project Management “Sustainable Development. Economy of New Reality,” under which they made a presentation and participated in the national tournament of project teams”, said Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC.
The Mosinzhproekt Group of Companies is one of the major engineering holdings in Russia, the participant in the implementation of the principal urban planning programmes in Moscow. In 2022, the holding was included in the List of backbone organisations of the Russian economy in the construction and housing and utilities sector.
“The competencies of the experts of the Group of Companies on project management were once again confirmed during the international conference on sustainable development: the holding’s project team was awarded a tournament winner cup and the award for best contract strategy management”, said Yuri Kravtsov.
According to him, experts of the specialised department of Mosinzhproekt JSC received awards based on the results of the tournament of Russian project teams held within the framework of the 21st International Conference on Project Management “Sustainable Development. Economy of New Reality.” Participants in the tournament demonstrated their skills in project costing, timeline, budgeting, contract strategy and other competencies.
Also, the project control department experts of Mosinzhproekt JSC made a presentation on analytical tools for project control as part of the Management Practices session, highlighting new approaches to project portfolio reporting and data quality assurance.
“The report presented tools for monitoring the project portfolio and quality control of the planning service. In the context of Mosinzhproekt, options were considered to solve the tasks by creating an internal analytical service which defined the standards for collecting information, providing its collection, processing and preparation of analytics”, specified the head of the engineering holding.
According to Yuri Kravtsov, the business meetings and discussions of leading market players provide a unique opportunity to exchange experience in the approaches and practices of project management development among the largest Russian companies.
“We plan to continue participating in such events in future in order to expand development opportunities in the professional platforms of the business communities and further develop the competencies of the holding team”, summed up Yuri Kravtsov.
21st International Conference on Project Management “Sustainable Development. Economy of New Reality” was held in Sochi in September. More than 200 Russian and international experts took part in it. Participants included representatives from key businesses in a range of sectors, including Rosatom, Gazprom, Gazpromneft, Norilsk Nickel, NLMK and other leading companies.
