“Mosinzhproekt Group of Companies actively participates in the work of the Moscow Complex of Urban Planning Policy and Construction on digitalization of the construction industry”, said Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC.
Mosinzhproekt GC is the operator of key urban planning programmes in Moscow and is included in the List of backbone organisations of the Russian economy in the construction, housing and utilities sector.
“The Russian construction industry has recently demonstrated flexibility and the ability to respond to the global challenges of our time. This is largely due to the digitalization of all processes initiated by the federal and city authorities, in particular the transition to the electronic document flow and problem solving using information modeling technologies (IMT) – Mosinzhproekt takes an active part in this work”, said Yuri Kravtsov following the conference “Development of the construction industry in Moscow in conditions of turbulence: the case of Moscow.”
According to him, currently, a number of holding’s facilities is being designed using IMT, including the implementation of the development programme of the Moscow Metro. Among them, there are new Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya and Biryulyovskaya Lines, part of the central section of the Troitskaya Line under construction from Novatorskaya to Krymskaya, the prospective Golyanovo station on the operating Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya Line, as well as the prospective Biryulyovskoye electric depot.
Mikhail Nadot, Acting Deputy General Director for Engineering of Mosinzhproekt JSC, specified that the important step in this direction in the current operating conditions in the industry will be replacement of foreign software and equipment by domestic similar products.
“We conducted a thorough research of the software available on the Russian market, which resulted in the selection of several products, and now Mosinzhproekt’s experts are configuring and adapting them to be used with IMT at our facilities”, said Mikhail Nadot.
According to his estimates, the developments being tested are highly flexible in settings, which will enable them to be used to perform various tasks and gradually replace foreign-made software.
For example, information modeling technologies were used by Mosinzhproekt’s specialists in the reconstruction of the Luzhniki stadium, the design and construction of the Irina Viner-Usmanova Palace of Gymnastics, as well as the Terekhovo and Kuntsevskaya stations of the Big Circle Line of the Moscow Metro. Moreover, the public project “Attraction” in Magnitogorsk is being created using IMT.
Previously, Sergei Zolotarev, Head of the Department for Scientific and Technical Support of the Construction Industry of the Department of Urban Planning and Construction, said that currently, the Moscow Complex of Urban Planning Policy and Construction implements more than 50 projects using IMT.
