MOSINZHPROEKT TAKE PART IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE IN YEKATERINBURG

The Administration of Yekaterinburg and Mosinzhproekt signed an agreement on cooperation

The Administration of the city of Yekaterinburg and Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding signed an agreement on cooperation and collaboration in the area of integrated development of the city with the integration of multi-modal transport infrastructure, said Yury Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC at the 100+ TechnoBuild 2021 International Construction Forum. Mosinzhproekt is the largest engineering holding in Russia.

“Interaction with the city authorities of Yekaterinburg under the agreement will be implemented through joint work in the format of various coordinating bodies and working groups, involving experts with experience in urban and transport development. In our opinion, the result of our work on the development of the transport network will be the creation of new attraction points, increasing the efficiency and comfort of urban transport, as well as the mobility of citizens,” said Yuri Kravtsov.

Anton Zhiganov, Deputy General Director for Strategy and Business Development at Mosinzhproekt JSC, clarified that all types of underground and surface transport are now actively used in the territory of the Ural metropolitan city.

“Linking all elements of the transport infrastructure in Yekaterinburg into a single network has great potential for the development of both the city and the entire urban agglomeration. Mosinzhproekt’s experience in the integrated development of territories will be particularly relevant to meet such challenges, taking into account the plans of Yekaterinburg to develop new territories,” noted Anton Zhiganov.

Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding is the leading operator and participant in a number of key infrastructure programs in Moscow, including the territory development of major urban development projects. The company is actively involved in the expansion of the city’s road network as a general designer and general contractor of the key road facilities.
