MOSINZHPROEKT TOOK PART IN DUBAI EXPO-2020

Holding’s distinctive skill sets are in demand in the largest metropolitan areas of the Middle East

“Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding took part in the forum ‘Days of Moscow in the United Arab Emirates’ as part of the World Universal Exhibition EXPO-2020 in Dubai. At the invitation of the Moscow City Government, the Holding was presented by Maurice Leroy, Vice President for International Relations of Mosinzhproekt JSC”, said Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC.

“Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding is honored to be part of the delegation representing the capital of Russia, one of the most dynamically developing metropolitan cities of the world. In the course of investment conference of the Moscow Government within the framework of EXPO-2020, Mosinzhproekt shared its experience in the development of urban infrastructure and comprehensive area development”, said Yuri Kravtsov.

In his speech at the Forum, Maurice Leroy, Vice President for International Relations, noted that EXPO-2020 united the best world urban planning practices in one location.

“By joining forces, we will be able to help efficiently develop the growing metropolitan cities of other countries, promote the development of the cities of the future on all continents”, said Maurice Leroy.

He added that Mosinzhproekt holds a leading position in Russia and in the world in the field of design and construction of transport infrastructure and complex engineering facilities. For instance, the holding acts as the operator of the Moscow Metro Development Programme, and is developing a large-scale project of the global metro construction, the longest circle line in the world. And such unique projects as Zaryadye Park with its Concert Hall and Irina Viner-Usmanova Palace of Gymnastics have been repeatedly praised by the international expert community. In particular, these projects received prestigious MIPIM Awards.

During the World Universal Exhibition, the representatives of the Russian Holding were also introduced to Hussein Luta, head of one of the leading investment and construction companies of the UAE, former CEO of Dubai Municipality.

“We agreed to further elaborate feasible directions of cooperation in the sphere of transport and engineering infrastructure. The skill sets of our holding in terms of metro design and tunnel driving are of interest in many metropolitan cities of the Middle East”, said Maurice Leroy, Vice President for International Relations of Mosinzhproekt JSC.

It is noteworthy, that this year Mosinzhproekt rose by 9 points in the international ranking of the world’s 250 largest construction companies. The holding was ranked 114th in ENR’s 2021 Top 250 Global Contractors.
