MOSINZHPROEKT’S HUMANITARIAN INITIATIVE IS AMONG THE TOP 100 BEST SOCIAL PRACTICES IN RUSSIA

“Mosinzhproekt Group of Companies’ corporate volunteering project titled ‘Tent Camp’ became a semi-finalist of the federal award in the sphere of socially significant projects and best social practices #MYVMESTE – 2022, organised with the participation of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh)”, said Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC.

Mosinzhproekt GC, one of the largest engineering holdings in Russia, has been included in the List of backbone organisations of the Russian economy in the construction and housing and utilities sector.

In 2019, the Mosinzhproekt’s Volunteer Club together with the director of the sponsored Social Rehabilitation Center implemented a tent camp project with training in survival skills, overcoming natural obstacles, orienteering and other activities that help the social integration of at-risk youth.

“Mosinzhproekt Group of Companies is a big solid team, capable to solve the most complex tasks. Our volunteer project is in full conformity with the spirit of the engineering holding. It is designed to attract pupils from the sponsored social institution to lead an active lifestyle, to help develop their physical qualities and creative potential, and to teach them to function as a team and overcome difficulties”, said Yuri Kravtsov.

According to the head of the engineering holding, the ‘Tent Camp’ project was included in the top 100 best social practices of #MYVMESTE – 2022, which demonstrated the right approach of the holding to the implementation of humanitarian initiatives.

Grigory Mazitov, Deputy General Director for HR Policy at Mosinzhproekt JSC, said that the ‘Tent Camp’ project became possible thanks to the active participation of the employees of the Group of Companies in volunteering activities.

“The ‘Tent Camp’ project makes a significant contribution to the promotion of charity and volunteering, and promotes the involvement in social projects not only among the holding’s employees, but also among their family members who share the principles of mutual assistance and caring for others”, said Grigory Mazitov.

According to him, Mosinzhproekt will continue to implement socially significant programmes.

The #MYVMESTE Award, organised by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) and the DOBRO.RF platform, aims to support projects that have made a special contribution to solve important humanitarian problems in their countries. In 2022, more than 31 thousand projects from all regions of the country have been nominated for the award.
