“Construction of the section of the Moscow High-Speed Diameter (MSD) from Marshala Shestopalova Street to Paveletsky Railway is almost 70% complete”, said Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Urban Planning and Construction.

Mosinzhproekt Group of Companies is a general contractor and general designer of a number of sections of the Moscow High-Speed Diameter.

“The section from Marshala Shestopalova Street to Paveletsky railway is being built as part of the southern section of the Moscow High-Speed Diameter. A total of 11.5 kilometres of roads are to be built here. Currently, this diameter section is 70% complete”, said Andrey Bochkarev.

According to the Deputy Mayor, the project includes several overflies along the main route through Kantemirovskaya Street and the mouth of Kotlyakovsky Creek, at the intersection with the main route in the alignment of Kavkazsky Bulvar across the Gorodnya River at the junction with the tunnel through the Paveletsky suburban railway line, as well as four underpasses: at Bekhtereva Street 11, bld. 1,15 bld. 5, 41 bld. 1, Sevanskaya Street, 29.

According to Rafik Zagrutdinov, head of the Moscow City Construction Department, work is currently underway to build the main road, underpasses, retaining walls, and to reconstruct utilities.

“The launch of traffic on this section will create a new direct transport link between Moskvorechye-Saburovo, Tsaritsyno and Biryulyovo Zapadnoye districts, improving their transport accessibility”, specified Rafik Zagrutdinov.

There will also be comfortable pedestrian routes to the public areas of the Arshinovsky and Sosenki Parks and the Tsaritsyno Museum Reserve.
