The general engineering readiness of the Lyublino-Dmitrovskaya metro line (LDL) is estimated to be 60%, according to Mr. Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning and Construction.
The Mosinzhproekt Group of Companies is a general designer and general contractor for the construction of new lines and stations of the Moscow Metro.
“The LDL extension section includes three stations: Yakhromskaya, Lianozovo and Fiztekh. The Yakhromskaya station platform is now undergoing design and decoration work: the installation of decorative panels on the tunnel walls and the floor cladding are being prepared. The main colours of the station will be red and white. The in-situ concreting continues in the two concourses, while the construction of the first underground pedestrian passage has already been started”, informed Mr. Andrey Bochkarev.
Deputy Mayor recalled that the station was located along Dmitrovskoye highway between 800-Letiya Moskvy Street and Yakhromsky passage, with two underground concourses and exits to both sides of Dmitrovskoye highway.
“The Lianozovo station is located at the intersection of Dmitrovskoye highway and the Savelovskoye suburban railway line. The main structures are complete, the ventilation, heating and water supply systems are being installed and the finishing work has already started. As planned by the project designers, the station will be in dark grey and beige colours”, noted Mr. Andrey Bochkarev.
Mr. Yuri Kravtsov, CEO, Mosinzhproekt JSC, added that the third station of the LDL section, Fiztekh, was located in the Severny urban settlement, near Akademika Landau Boulevard.
“The earthwork is being completed at the northernmost station of the light green line, the waterproofing is being done and the main structures are being installed. The installation of reinforced concrete structures of the headshunts and the exit chamber behind the Fiztekh station is also underway”, informed Mr. Yuri Kravtsov.
The head of the holding company specified that the station was the line terminus and the dead-ends would be used for the turnaround and parking of rolling stock.
The opening of the light green line extension section will improve transport services in Dmitrovsky, Vostochnoye Degunino, Beskudnikovsky and Lianozovo districts, as well as the Severny urban settlement: their residents will be able to save up to 20 minutes while travelling around the city.
