The ‘Big Circle Line: From Idea to Motion’ photo exhibition opened in Moscow. Its concept is based on the history of the Big Circle Metro Line construction: the project discussion, the timing of implementation, architectural solutions, features of the stations’ construction and urban development effect on the capital.
The Mosinzhproekt Group of Companies is a general designer and general contractor for the construction of new lines and stations of the Moscow Metro.
The unique images on Tsvetnoy Boulevard are available for public until 5 March this year.
The exhibition is supported by the Moscow Construction Complex.
The organising party is ’Centrinform’ ANO. The strategic partner of the exhibition is Mosinzhproekt JSC.
The Big Circle Line is a megaproject of modern domestic metro construction. The line with a length of more than 70 km will have 31 stations, after which it will become the world’s longest underground metro circle, leaving behind the Beijing metro counterpart (57 km).
The Big Circle will cross all radial metro lines, the MCC, the MCD and suburban railroad lines, which will allow passengers to choose new convenient routes and significantly reduce travel time, as well as unload other metro lines.
