“The general construction readiness of the section from the Novatorskaya station to the Bachurinskaya station of the prospective Troitskaya Line section on the Kommunarka territory is estimated to be 65%”, said Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Urban Planning and Construction.
Mosinzhproekt Group of Companies is a general designer and general contractor to build new lines and stations of the Moscow Metro.
“In-situ concreting is being completed at all five stations of the 13-kilometre section, excavation backfill is underway and architectural finishing has been started, and the construction of tunnels between them is underway”, informed Andrey Bochkarev.
According to the Deputy Mayor, the rigid track base is more than three-quarters complete throughout the section, and the track superstructure is more than 50% complete.
Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC, added that the builders had already started to install the utilities at four out of five stations on the section.
“These are Novatorskaya, Universitet Druzhby Narodov, Generala Tyuleneva and Tyutchevskaya. Power cables, pipe lines and ventilation systems are being installed here”, said Yuri Kravtsov.
The head of the engineering holding specified that headshunt tunnelling using mining method is underway at the Novatorskaya station, the main structures of two concourses are being erected at the Mamyri station, and engineering systems of the traction step-down substation are scheduled to be installed shortly at the Generala Tyuleneva station.
Recall that in October, following the results of the voting on the Active Citizen project, Muscovites suggested that the Mamyri station under construction should be assigned the name of Kornilovskaya named after the nearby Admiral Kornilov Street.
The construction of the more than 40-kilometre-long Troitskaya Line is being carried out stage by stage. In addition to the construction of the section from the Novatorskaya station to the Bachurinskaya station, the construction of the central section from the ZIL station to the Novatorskaya station is underway.
In total, nine stations located on these two sections are in the zone of responsibility of Mosinzhproekt Group of Companies: ZIL, Krymskaya, Akademicheskaya, Vavilovskaya, Novatorskaya, Universitet Druzhby Narodov, Generala Tyuleneva, Tyutchevskaya and Mamyri.
