Sergei Sobyanin, Mayor of Moscow, visited the construction site of the southern section of the Moscow High-Speed Diameter (MSD) from the Paveletsky Suburban railway line (SRL) to the Moscow Automobile Ring Road.
Mosinzhproekt Group of Companies is a general contractor and general designer of a number of sections of the Moscow High-Speed Diameter.
“This section crosses about nine major arteries of Moscow in general. Of course, once launched, it will have a serious impact on the transport situation not only in the south of Moscow, but also on the situation in the capital in general. This section, which links the Paveletsky Suburban railway line and the Moscow Automobile Ring Road, is under active construction”, noted Sergei Sobyanin, reports AGN “Moskva”.
Sobyanin also stressed that after the main stage of the Moscow High-Speed Diameter, its southern direction would become the main road construction site in Moscow.
“It is a huge project, giant – 28 km of direct route with exits and an adjacent road network, about 100 km long. The main construction works are all in the form of flyovers, overpasses and tunnels. There is a constant crossing of railways and roads”, said the Mayor of Moscow.
Recall that the opening of the section of Moscow High-Speed Diameter from Paveletsky Suburban railway line to the Moscow Automobile Ring Road will improve transport accessibility of Tsaritsyno, Chertanovo Central, Chertanovo-Yuzhnoye, Biryulyovo Zapadnoye, Biryulyovo Vostochnoye with a total population of more than 630 thousand people.
