More than 150 students and graduates from Russia’s leading universities are taking summer internships at Mosinzhproekt Group of Companies, said Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC.
Mosinzhproekt is one of the major engineering holdings in Russia, the leading operator of the principal urban development programmes in Moscow. The company was included in the List of backbone organisations of the Russian economy in the construction and housing and utilities sector.
“We are interested in employees who are goal-oriented to solve challenging and exciting tasks. Taking the internship in the companies of Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding is a unique opportunity for young specialists to gain invaluable experience in a team of professionals and immerse themselves in the future profession,” emphasised Yuri Kravtsov.
Grigory Mazitov, Deputy General Director for HR Policy of Mosinzhproekt JSC, noted that the following areas of specialisation are especially popular among interns and trainees: Industrial and Civil Construction, Economics of Enterprises and Organizations, Mining, Information Security of Telecommunications Networks, and Construction of Railways, Bridges and Tunnels.
“After successfully completing the internship, around 10% of students receive job offers from the company. Currently, students of Moscow State University of Civil Engineering (MGSU), Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University (MADI), the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN), Moscow Architectural Institute (MARChI), the Russian University of Transport (RUT MIIT), Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography (MIIGAiK) and other Universities started their internships at our enterprises,” said Grigory Mazitov.
According to Rustam Cherkesov, the General Director of Mosinzhproekt Institute LLC (the head design organization of the Group of Companies), the company has long years’ experience in partnership with the leading universities in this field.
“The students of the 2-4 undergraduate courses and 1st course master students joined the Design Institute of “Mosinzhproekt. They will take the internship in the departments of civil engineering design, information modeling technology, engineering surveys, in the architectural workshop, financial and analytical department and others. Students who show high results and demonstrate strong willingness to work with us, we further make a job offer. In their last years, students often combine study and work with us, and have their degrees based on the Institute’s facilities,” said Rustam Cherkesov.
According to him, the number of young specialists at Mosinzhproekt Institute grows every year.
“Currently, 57% of the staff are people under the age of 40. Many years of experience of highly qualified professionals and the energy of young promising professionals is the basis for the successful development of the organization, so we welcome young staff,” emphasised the General Director of the Institute.
Students also take internships at construction sites of MIPSTROI 1 (leading construction division of Mosinzhproekt Group) in such areas as Mining, Automobile Roads, Industrial and Civil Engineering, Applied Geodesy and many others.
Konstantin Maslakov, General Director of MIPSTROI 1, noted that the company provides ample opportunities for professional development and annually accepts students of the industry-leading universities for practice.

At the end of June the head of MIPSTROI 1 was elected to the Board of Trustees of the Moscow College of Geodesy and Cartography, MIIGAiK, which will support young professionals, participate in the development of training programs, the organization of industrial practice.
