“The main cast-in-situ structures of the station complex are 90% complete. In parallel, the utility systems are being installed, and architectural and finishing works are carried out,” said Andrey Bochkarev.

According to him, in parallel, active work are being conducted at other stations on the east of the Big Circle LIne, including Pechatniki, Nagatinsky Zaton and Klenovy Bulvar. Meanwhile, a total readiness of the eastern section of the BCL is estimated at about 43%.

“Six escalators out of 13 have been installed, and work has begun on laying granite on the platform part,” explained the holding head.

He also added that the concourse and station hall would be finished with porcelain stoneware and gray stone. The two-level ceiling will be made of aluminum panels with embedded lighting fixtures. The platform will be illuminated with blue light.

Earlier it was reported about the start of tunneling of the last 70th tunnel of the BCL between the Klenovy Bulvar and Kashirskaya stations. “One of the main projects for the development of the Moscow transport hub is the Big Circle Line. When we fully complete its construction, Muscovites will save a lot of time – they no longer have to go to the city center to change from one radial line to another,” Sergei Sobyanin, Mayor of Moscow, commented on this event.
