Mosinzhproekt’s projects have already won MIPIM Awards

“The Big Circle Line (BCL) of the Moscow Metro will take part in MIPIM Awards 2022, an internationally-renowned competition”, said Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Urban Planning and Construction.

Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding is the operator of the Moscow Metro Development Programme.

“A number of projects from Moscow will take part in MIPIM Awards 2022, a prestigious international competition in architecture and construction. Among other things, the competition will feature such an important project for the Russian capital as the Big Circle Line,” said the Deputy Mayor.

According to him, the call for applications would last until 7 January 2022.

“The list of nominations remains the same: applications are accepted in 12 nominations, 10 of which are open to projects completed in 2020-2021, and two are for projects under construction or planned to be implemented in the nearest future,” specified Andrey Bochkarev.

Sergey Lyovkin, Head of the Department of Urban Development Policy of the city of Moscow, said that the competition will traditionally take place as part of the International Investment Real Estate Exhibition MIPIM (Cannes, France), scheduled for 15-18 March in 2022.

“An unlimited number of projects can be submitted for the competition. To do so you need to fill in the preliminary form in English on the exhibition website, in the registration section. The applicant will then be notified by the organisers if it enters the long-list and is required to fill in a final form and pay the entry fee. The deadline for submitting final forms with project materials is 24 January,” explained Sergey Lyovkin.

This is not the first time that the projects of Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding participate in MIPIM Awards competition. The projects have reached the finals of the competition four times, and two projects became winners of the MIPIM Awards: in 2019, Zaryadye Park with a concert hall was awarded a special Jury Prize, and in 2020, Irina Viner-Usmanova Gymnastics Palace in Luzhniki was recognized as the winner in the nomination “The Best Cultural and Sports Facility.”

In 2021, Moscow Clinical Center for Infectious Diseases ‘Voronovskoe’, built in record time, reached the finals of the MIPIM Awards in the nomination “Best Healthcare Development”.
