Builders started constructing the two over-head roads over the Kaluzhskoe highway in the Kommunarka Administration and Business Center (ABC), said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the government of Moscow on urban policy and the construction Andrey Bochkarev. Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding is the operator of several major urban development projects, including the territory of the Kommunarka ABC.
According to the Deputy Mayor, the work is carried out as part of the first phase of the ABC transport infrastructure development. “Currently, work has begun on the construction of two over-head roads over the Kaluzhskoye highway and ramified network of intra-block passages, which includes the construction of another tunnel-type over-head road on the territory of the ADC, as well as the removal of utilities from the construction site”, said Andrey Bochkarev.
The Head of Moscow Stroycomplex also stressed that constructing the bridge structure across the Sosenka river and the section of the street and road network covering a distance of 1.66 km has already been completed, the construction of two sewage treatment facilities of the open drains are at the final stage.
“Commissioning of the section of the street and road network with a bridge construction is scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year. The building of intra-block passages is scheduled for completion in 2022 and over-head roads over the Kalushkoe highway is scheduled for 2023. The input of new road facilities will significantly improve the transport situation in Sosenskoye,” added Andrey Bochkarev.
As explained by Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC, the first phase of the ABC street and the road network will include the construction of more than 18 km of roads,4.82 km have already been put into operation. It will also include two over-head roads over the Solntsevo – Butovo – Varshavskoe highway.
“On the territory of ABC the scheme of engineering maintenance is developed, the head objects of power and heat supply are created, the construction of the head objects of water supply, sewage and ramified network of engineering communications is at the final stage, the main water drainage networks, communication networks, collectors for engineering communications are laid. Besides, the works on construction of intra-block engineering networks have been started,” Yuri Kravtsov said.
The head of the Holding reminded that Mosinzhproekt is designing a sports and recreation center and Intermuseum multifunctional depository and exhibition complex in Kommunarka.
The approximate area of the sports center will be 19.5 thousand square meters. It is assumed that an ice arena, swimming pools, halls for various sports, the office of the Center for Physical Education and Sports of Troitsky and Novomoskovsky Districts of Moscow will be built there.
The total area of the museum depositary will be about 70 thousand square meters. It is planned that the complex sites will house the storehouses of the four federal and 16 Moscow museums, and a new public space will be created.
Besides working on ABC Kommunarka, Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding is the operator of territory development of such large urban planning projects as Mnevnikovskaya Poyma where it is supposed to build facilities of different purposes with an area of about 2,5 million square meters, and the territory of Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center. in the Filevskaya Poyma, where a special economic zone and an influential research and production cluster will be created.
