THE ESCALATORS AT THE KLENOVY BULVAR STATION ARE BEING INSTALLED

The station is nearly 60% complete

“Three out of four escalators have been installed at the Klenovy Bulvar station on the eastern section of the Big Circle Line (BCL)”, said Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Urban Planning and Construction.

Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding is a general designer and general contractor to construct the new lines and stations of the Moscow metro.

“The Klenovy Bulvar station is nearly 60% complete. The in-situ concreting has been completed,” said Andrey Bochkarev.

According to the Deputy Mayor, air ducts are being installed at the station under construction.

“In addition, the platform of the station is being finished with black granite,” specified Bochkarev.

Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC, noted that the work is carried out in a single 600-metre excavation. The station occupies 200 metres, and the rest is for the bays for overnight storage and maintenance of trains.

“The train maintenance point is assessed as complete by two-thirds. Earthworks are nearly complete, placing of monoliths is halfway through, waterproofing is underway, and excavation backfill has started,” Yuri Kravtsov clarified.

At the end of 2021, the tunnelling of the last tunnel of the Big Circle Line (BCL) between the Nagatinsky Zaton and the Klenovy Bulvar stations under construction was completed. The 10-metre TBM “Liliya” has completed a 1226-metre long double-track tunnel.
