THE FIRST START-UP COMPLEX OF THE AMINYEVSKOE ELECTRIC DEPOT REPAIR BUILDING IS MORE THAN THREE-QUARTERS COMPLETE

“The main structures of the two start-up complexes of the 29-ditch stabling and repair building are under construction at the Aminyevskoye electric depot, the first of them is 80% complete”, said Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Urban Planning and Construction.

Mosinzhproekt Group of Companies is a general designer and general contractor to construct new stations of the Moscow metro.

“The construction of the Aminyevskoye electric depot, which will serve the rolling stock of the Big Circle Line, is underway. As part of the first start-up complex, in addition to a 14-ditch stabling and repair building, an administrative and amenity building, a motor depot, a compressor station, a traction step-down substation and two gatehouses are being built”, said Andrey Bochkarev.

According to the Deputy Mayor, the Aminyevskoye electric depot, located in the Mozhaiskiy district in Moscow, is being built on the territory of the former industrial zone with an area of about 15.7 hectares. When the work is complete, there will be 63 facilities and the electric depot will create 1,350 jobs as a result of its launch.

Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC, specified that cast-in-situ concrete structures are being erected in the first start-up complex of the depot’s stabling and repair building, the facade enclosing structures, window units and flat skylights are being installed, and work on the group of tracks and installation of utilities are underway.

“In the second start-up complex of the 15-ditch repair building of the Aminyevskoye electric depot, construction work is almost one-third complete. A motor depot, a combined maintenance personnel building for metro services, and other facilities are also under construction here”, informed Yuri Kravtsov.

The head of the engineering holding added that, in addition to the Aminyevskoye electric depot, the rolling stock of the Big Circle Line (BCL) will be maintained by the Zamoskvoretskoye and Nizhegorodskoye depots.

Previously, Sergei Sobyanin, Mayor of Moscow, inspected the construction progress of the Aminyevskoye electric depot.

“Three electric depots, including Aminyevskoye, will be used for the operation of the Big Circle Line, which is being built on the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation at an accelerated pace. It is one of the largest electric depots not only in the Moscow Metro but in the whole country. It will be equipped with cutting edge equipment. It is the timely launch of the electric depot that will make it possible to launch the Big Circle Line as planned”, said Sergei Sobyanin.
