THE GLAZING OF THE SPORTS COMPLEX AT THE NEKRASOVKA TIH IS ONE-THIRD COMPLETE

Soon there will be a ground for extreme sports

“The glazing of the sports complex as part of the Nekrasovka transport interchange hub (TIH) is 35% complete”, said Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Urban Planning and Construction.

Mosinzhproekt JSC is one of the operators of the TIH network programme in Moscow.

“The construction of a sports complex with an area of more than 21,000 square metres is underway on the territory of the Nekrasovka TIH. The glazing of the exterior contour is 35% complete, with full glazing in the area of swimming pools and main concourse,” informed Andrey Bochkarev.

According to the head of the Construction Complex, installing the water treatment system for the swimming pool is underway, and the structure of the curtain wall system is 16% complete.

“This will also allow the builders to start installing decorative aluminium facing panels,” Andrey Bochkarev added.

Albert Suniev, Executive Director for Development of Mosinzhproekt JSC, reminded that the Nekrasovka TIH would unite the same name station on the Nekrasovskaya Line and the ground urban transport routes. Its passenger traffic can reach up to 25 million people per year.

“Also, by constructing a sports complex as part of the TIH, this densely populated district will have a hall and outdoor area for extreme sports and rock climbing, the only ones at the moment, equipped with all necessary sporting facilities,” stressed Albert Suniev.

Recall that the Nekrasovka station was built as part of the first launched section of the Nekrasovskaya Line and was opened in 2019. The second section of the Nekrasovskaya Line was launched in 2020.

Over the past ten years, more than 125 km of metro lines, 61 stations and 11 electric depots were built and commissioned in Moscow with the participation of Mosinzhproekt.
