In turn, Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC, added that the tunneling work in the underground part of the station complex is 94% complete.

“Also, the bulkheads of the side station tunnels have been complete, the main structures are being installed, and work is underway to open the openings from the right and left station tunnels to the middle tunnel. Recall that the Maryina Roshcha station as part of the northeastern section of the Big Circle Line of the Moscow Metro is pylon station with a trough platform, being built along the 3rd Proezd of Maryina Roshcha near the intersection with Sheremetevskaya Street, between the Oktyabrskaya street and 2nd Maryina Roshcha street. The station’s design project was selected as a result of an open international architectural competition.

The Big Circle Line project will be the largest in the history of the Moscow Metro construction. The length of the BCL will be 70 km. It will unite the remote areas of the city and cut travel time in half.
