The priority for the work of the holding is to ensure safe production
“One of the Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding construction sites has a testing ground complex for works at height training”, said Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC.
“Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding implements key infrastructure projects in Moscow, so the quality of work and industrial safety is of paramount importance. A special testing ground complex for works at height training has been installed at the construction site of the National Space Center to train new employees on-the-job,” said Yuri Kravtsov.
According to him, it saves time and allows workers to learn the required skills in practice and do the job safer and more efficiently.
The General Director of the holding also added that the company is currently implementing a hardware-software complex at construction sites, allowing the holding employees to instantly inform project managers and contractors about the irregularities with one click on a smartphone. This not only helps prevent unsafe situations but also speeds up the production process.
The holding also introduced helmet qualification marking. From now on, each employee is given a sticker of a certain color or shape at the end of the training, which allows defining the competence of the specialist without stopping the production process.
In addition, new stainless steel safety signs made in the corporate style have been installed at all Mosinzhproekt sites. They are clearly visible from all sides to warn workers of possible danger.
The head of Mosinzhproekt noted that the construction sites of the holding are also equipped with sophisticated modular type scaffolding tools and non-slip staircases and gratings with a twisted stainless steel rod, reducing the injury hazard while moving around the site.
“Thanks to the measures taken to improve safety culture, provide employees with modern means of personal protective equipment and gradually implement new practices in industrial health service, a positive dynamics of reducing frequency and severity of injuries has been registered,” summed up Yuri Kravtsov.
Previously it was reported that all employees of Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding had their special clothing replaced to work on construction sites. The new uniforms comply with EN 471 European standard for high visibility clothing.
