The trade union organization of Mosinzhproekt JSC won the annual contest for “The Best Primary Trade Union Organization” organized by the Trade Union of Construction and Building Materials Industry Workers of the Russian Federation, said Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC.

Mosinzhproekt is one of the major engineering holdings in Russia, the leading operator of the principal urban development programmes in Moscow. The company was included in the List of backbone organisations of the Russian economy in the construction and housing and utilities sector.

“The trade union is always in the centre of the production and social life of the company and plays an important role in the construction industry in general because the key priority of the organization is the social and economic interests of employees and their right to a safe workplace. I heartily congratulate my colleagues on their well-deserved victory,” said Yury Kravtsov.

According to Marina Feofanova, Chairman of the Trade Union of JSC Mosinzhproekt, the contest committee highly appreciated the prompt fulfillment of economic and social guarantees of the collective agreement, the number of events held, the frequency of meetings of the trade union committee, and the information resources of the trade union organization. The trade union was awarded a Diploma of the First Degree for winning the competition for “Best Primary Trade Union Organization 2021”.

“We have nearly 1,000 employees in our union. Particular attention is paid to explaining the position and actions of the trade union on issues of wages, improving working conditions, compliance with obligations of the collective agreement, the role of the trade union in protecting employees’ rights,” said Marina Feofanova.

She also stressed that no less important in the work of the trade union organization is assistance in difficult life situations, encouragement for length of service in the company and in the trade union. Also a big role is assigned to the organization of cultural events: weekend trips, leisure activities for employees and their families, sports events, summer holidays for children at corporate rates, and congratulations to veterans.

The primary trade union organization of JSC Mosinzhproekt was established in 2014.
