According to the portal of the Moscow Government, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin officially approved the name of the Troitskaya Line of the Moscow Metro under construction and a number of its stations. Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding is the managing company to construct new lines and stations of the Moscow Metro.
According to the published information, the line linking Troitsk with the MCC in the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky Administrative District of Moscow was officially named Troitskaya (working title is Kommunarskaya), also the names of a number of its stations were approved.
In particular, the station located on Sevastopolsky Prospekt and interchangeable with the Krymskaya MCC platform also received the official name “Krymskaya” (previously named as Sevastopolsky Prospekt), the name of the next station at the intersection of Dmitry Ulyanov Street and Profsoyuznaya Street was approved as “Akademicheskaya.” It will become an interchange station of the same name of the orange line. Another station, at the intersection of Leninsky Prospekt with Stroiteley Street and Panferov Street, will be called “Vavilovskaya” (the working name is Ulitsa Stroiteley).
Also, the station, located in the territory of the Mosrentgen settlement, Novomoskovsk Administrative District of Moscow along the outer side of 42nd kilometer of the Moscow Automobile Ring Road with the project name Slavyansky Mir will be called “Tyutchevskaya.”
Furthermore, the names of the future stations of the Troitskaya Line in New Moscow have been approved: Bachurinskaya, Kommunarka, Sosenki, Rakitki and Desna.
In addition, the station being built as a part of the new northern section of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya Line with the working name The Ulitsa 800-letiya Moskvy has been named Yakhromskaya.
Over the years, Mosinzhproekt has introduced more than 105 km of metro lines, 51 stations, and 11 electric depots as a general designer and general contractor to construct new lines and stations of the Moscow metro.
