THE SECTION OF THE LUBLINSKO-DMITROVSKAYA LINE UNDER CONSTRUCTION IS ONE-QUARTER COMPLETE

Currently, all types of work are being carried out at the three stations

“The new section of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya Line is 25% complete”, said Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Urban Planning and Construction.

Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding acts as the operator of the Moscow Metro Development Program.

“The construction of the section with three stations Yakhromskaya, Lianozovo and Fiztekh of the Lublinsko-Dmitrovskaya Line is underway: all of them are now connected to one other by tunnels,” said Andrey Bochkarev.

Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC, noted that all kinds of work are being carried out simultaneously at the future stations.

“At Yakhromskaya, the excavation with timbering and excavation works are almost complete, and the in-situ concreting for the platform part and the first concourse of the station complex continues,” said the head of the holding.

Yuri Kravtsov added that track structure construction is underway in the neighbouring previously traversed tunnel.

At the Lianozovo station, where the “Klavdia” TBM has arrived, the wall-in-soil retaining walls of the excavation are ready and the excavation work has been completed.

“Waterproofing works are actively underway at the station and the main structures are being erected,” Kravtsov stressed.

He explained that at the Fiztekh station, where the “Tatyana” and “Irina” tunnel boring machines had finished their work earlier, the removal of utilities and the installation of the retaining walls are underway, and the excavation is being implemented.

Earlier today, Sergei Sobyanin, Mayor of Moscow, participated in the completion ceremony of three tunneling operations on the new section of the light green line of the Moscow Metro. “Tunnelling is fully complete at the three stations. The builders will continue arranging excavation pits and erecting stations”, specified the Mayor of Moscow.

The extension of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya Line to the Severny settlement will improve transport accessibility for residents of Dmitrovsky District, East Degunino District, and Lianozovo District, as well as the Severny settlement. The residents in the north of Moscow will save up to 20 minutes of commuting time when the section is commissioned.
