All three stations of the section up to the future Fiztekh station are under active construction
“The running tunnels between the future Lianozovo and Fiztekh stations of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya metro line section under construction is almost 80% complete”, informed Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Urban Planning and Construction. Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding is the managing company to construct new lines and stations of Moscow Metro.
“The Tatyana and Irina tunnel boring machines are nearly completing tunneling to the future Fiztekh station. At present, both shields have already crossed the Moscow Automobile Ring Road. The left running tunnel is 79% complete, the right tunnel is 77% complete,” said Andrey Bochkarev.
He also mentioned that the left tunnel is already ready and the right running tunnel is continued to be built at the section between the Yakhromskaya and Lianozovo stations.
For his part, the General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC added that all three stations of the Yakhromskaya station with working name Ulitsa 800-letiya Moskvy, Lianozovo, and Fiztekh are under active construction.
“At Yakhromskaya and Lianozovo stations, the retaining walls are ready. In addition, builders have almost completed excavation shoring for 97,5% at Lianozovo. At the Fiztekh station, the preparation work for excavation shoring and utilities network relocation outside the construction footprint is underway,” explained Yuri Kravtsov.
Earlier, Sergei Sobyanin, Mayor of Moscow, said that three stations of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya metro line are scheduled to begin operations simultaneously in 2023.
