The Tyutchevskaya station of the future Troitskaya metro line is estimated to be 72% complete, according to Mr. Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning and Construction.
The Mosinzhproekt Group of Companies is a general designer and general contractor for the construction of new lines and stations of the Moscow Metro.
“The main in-situ concreting has been completed at the Tyutchevskaya station of the future Troitskaya metro line. In addition, all the service premises have been completely built and the construction of the traction and step-down substation has started”, noted Mr. Andrey Bochkarev.
According to him, the future station is a three-span column-type structure with an island platform.
“In addition to the platform, the station’s four levels accommodate premises for the traction step-down substation, train telemechanics, battery room and the escalator engine room”, added Deputy Mayor.
Mr. Yuri Kravtsov, CEO, Mosinzhproekt JSC, specified that the architectural finishing had started in the Tyutchevskaya passenger area, the waterproofing of the platform area and the ceiling painting were underway.
“There will be four 8.3 metre high escalators leading from the ticket hall to the platform. Preparations are underway to construct an engine room, which will ensure the operation of the escalators”, specified Mr. Yuri Kravtsov.
He added that the laying of the track superstructure was underway in the adjacent tunnels, with over two thousand running metres already completed, and that the backfilling was being carried out in the maintenance depot and stabling of the rolling stock of the Troitskaya Line.
“The Tyutchevskaya station of the Troitskaya line provides exits to the outer side of the Moscow Automobile Ring Road and to the Mosrentgen settlement, to ground public and suburban passenger transport stops”, recalled the head of the engineering holding.
The 40 km long Troitskaya metro line will connect the platforms of the Moscow Central Circle (MCC) with the urban district of Troitsk, passing through Southern, South-Western, Troitsky and Novomoskovsky districts of the capital.
