The electricity network is already fully operational
“Construction of the engineering infrastructure facilities for the first stage on the territory of the Kommunarka Administrative and Business Centre (ABC) is in its final stage. Water supply, wastewater and heat supply systems are being prepared for commissioning”, said Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Urban Planning and Construction.
Mosinzhproekt Engineering Holding is the operator of several major urban development projects, including the territory of the Kommunarka ABC.
“During 2022, it is planned to provide the ABC territory with a functioning engineering infrastructure. The electricity network is already fully operational, and the construction of the utility systems has been completed. The main wastewater facilities are being prepared for commissioning and comprehensive tests of all engineering systems are being carried out at the sites. The commissioning is scheduled for the third quarter”, informed Andrey Bochkarev.
According to the Deputy Mayor, the territory of the future administrative and business centre will also be provided with warmth by the start of the heating season 2022/2023.
Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC, specified that the construction of the main heat supply facilities is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year.
“Construction of the chamber pavilion of the main facility is completing. It controls the heat supply systems in the main systems of the administrative and business centre. The building will have metering and control devices equipped with a modern monitoring system and information panel. Once the equipment installation is complete, the heat medium will be launched by the heating supply company, PJSC MOEK”, added Yuri Kravtsov.
The head of the engineering holding recalled that 1.66 km of roads, including a bridge over the Sosenka River and a storm sewer treatment plant, are also scheduled to be commissioned soon. These facilities are being constructed as part of the first stage of the ABC road network.
The Kommunarka ABC is one of the most dynamic growth points in the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky Administrative Districts (TiNAO). At the territory of over 469 ha, it is scheduled to build-up around 7.2 million square metres with real estate, create 164 thousand new jobs, new social and cultural facilities will appear, inclusive of the Inter-museum multifunctional depository and exhibition complex for the federal and city museums.
As the operator of territory development, Mosinzhproekt coordinates the activities of all participants of development activities, optimises the periods of facilities design and construction, and takes measures to optimise Moscow’s budget expenditures at the implementation of projects by state customers.
